Duck, venison, and rabbit meat pie , mmmmmmm.

Fruit shrub - tropical fruit juice and lemon sorbet. We slurped it all up in no time.

We can't take Grandpa anywhere. Actually, wearing your napkin like this is historically accurate.

In the stocks - Where they all belong!!!

Nana and Guns! Good thing there was a barrier between them. This was called the Magazine. A big octagon shaped building where they stored weapons.

Who doesn't love a tri-corner hat?

We look adorable in our hats. That green ribbon is very flattering on Andrew.

The Weaver's shop was very interesting. She was spinning wools, there was fabric on a loom and neat colors of wool hanging on the wall.

The back entrance to the Governor's palace. We toured it as servants who were there to help prepared for the ball that night to celebrate the Queen's birthday and the Governor's daughter's christening.

Nana loves Colonial Williamsburg, can you tell?

We listened to Colonel George Washington at Colonial Williamsburg discussing the recent Tea incident in Boston, and what to do about the King and his taxes. See Grandpa and Lucy listening intently?

We drove to Williamsburg and here we are dancing in our hotel.

Andrew sang a song right before bed. He is tired and charming.

Adventures with Nana and Grandpa - Day 1

We love the poultry tent where they have baby chicks, turkeys and ducks to hold.

We made pigs of ourselves at the NC pork producers booth. We had 2 plate of eastern NC pork bbq (with a vinegar sauce), hushpuppies, coleslaw, and stewed apples. This is one of the reasons we love living in NC - the bbq!

We went on a swing buggy ride that went forward and backward. Nana and Grandpa didn't want to go. I wonder why?

We went to the NC State Fair. We saw the competition gardens and we found this board to put our heads through. We are a dragonfly, bumble bee and a butterfly.

Nana's And Grandpa's visit

Today was the day that Nana And Grandpa Ostergar left our house after a week of fun activities traveling and not traveling. Art beaver projects like zentangles and making our names out of newspaper, traveling around D.C., Virginia, and North Carolina, and going to the NC state fair. They got here on the 18th of October in the evening and left on the morning of the 27th of October.

Peter's B-day

I should have typed this a while ago.

Today is my birthday! I had my B-day party on Saturday, but today is my real B-Day. For my B-day Party, I went with my friends to see Toy Story 3. It wasn't as good as I thought it would be, but it was pretty good. After the movie, we went back to my house and had cake, ice cream, and presents. Here are some of the presents, I don't remember them all; A Rubik's 360˚ which is a version of a Rubik's cube, A soccer ball, A Nerf water gun, and a lot of gift cards. I really enjoyed it.

I'm Sorry

I'm sorry I haven't posted in like, 4 months. I've been so wrapped up in a lot of stuff, (or just haven't thought about it, I dare say). I even didn't post for our Alaska trip! Or my B-day! And our last minute Virginia trip! (I will post for it soon) If you are checking out our blog, you can see we have totally changed it. We did this so you could follow us day-by-day (hopefully) on our Australia/New Zealand trip.
