A Day at Marbles

Andrew:  I liked to play in the peas and carrots and I liked to play hockey and I liked to play on the trampoline and the exercise bike.  I liked to play a game downstairs about dress-ups.  I liked to dress-up like a knight and the pirate ship.  I liked the telephone box too.  

Lucy:  The water play are was fun.  I liked the pirate ship because you could pull up the anchor.  We went to World Trek and stamped our passports.  I liked the post office because you could pretend that you were mail workers and carry packages and letters.  I liked the hockey rink and the obstacle course, the rock wall and the peas and carrots pit.  :)

Peter: I liked the Power 2 Play place where there was a hockey rink where you skate on socks, an obstacle course to go under & over things, some exercise bikes to make stuff connected to the top of the bike spin, & last but not least the the foam carrots & the plastic peas pit to play in. I had a good time. :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) (in the pic I'm stage crew)

Track Out Adventures-Day 8-9

Peter: Monday we went to the White Oak Park. It is an average-sized park with a lot of fun things to do. You can play basketball, field hockey, soccer & about any sport with a field. We met a dog named Oreo that was taking a 7 mile walk w/her owner. There is a lot of concrete to ride bikes on. I had a good time. :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)

 

Tuesday:Today we went to the Woods house & caught toads. I had a great time even though I didn't catch any. We caught some HUGE & some tiny. We also got soaked & we didn't have swim

suits. :0 We still had a great time. :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) (ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) 

Lucy: We saw a dog named Lucy. We liked to pet her. If we didn't, she would whine loudly. hey hey, hey hey ,shoo-bu-Dee-a, shoo-bu-Dee-a, bee-bop-bay, bee-bop-bay,hey hey, hey hey I can't say where it comes but I know it's inside me. (repeat). It's a song from Blues Clues (a TV show)

Track Out Adventures-Day 4-7

Peter: Thursday I went to my dad's work & worked with him & learned more about GSK (glaxo smithkline). It was my 1st year. I had a GREAT time. I got a water bottle , a toothbrush, toothpaste, socks, & a camera. On the way home we were listening to a kids news place on the radio. They talk to kids & they talking to kids about THEIR  time going to work. I hope I can go next year. :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) 

Friday:Today we got up DOWNSTAIRS & just lied in the sleeping bag in the living room. That night we had slept downstairs. Our routine was pretty simple: 1. we get up downstairs 2. we stayed in our sleeping bags 3. we have breakfast 4. we need to go to some people in our ward 5. we remember that Andrew has gymnastics 6. Andrew, Mom, & Lucy go to gymnastics 7. I stay home & play Wii 8. they come home with Andrew's friend,Bo 9. we met some friends at a park 10. we go to their house for dinner 11. while the parents are grilling hamburgers & hot dogs my friend & I played wii fit [] (a diagram of the balance board) 12. we have a great dinner :) 13. we play more wii fit 14. we go home & go to bed. :0 -yawn 

  

Saturday:Today we went to the Wings Over Wayne airplane show. It was at Seymour Johnson air force base. We saw a C-5 "Galaxy" that you could walk through. We also saw an A-10 "Warthog", F-15E "Screaming Eagle", F-22 "Raptor", B-1 Bomber & C-130. We were going to see the "Blue Angels" but we couldn't last that long. :( We did see them on the way back to our house a little.  :)  

Lucy:  Me and my Mom went to the mall on Thursday.  I got to get a new Build a Bear named Max (who is a dog, and a girl).  We got to eat there.  We got to get Chick-fil-A.  I liked it.  I got to carry Max around at the mall.  Max liked it.  I would check on him and make sure he was okay while we walked around.  

Peter: Last Wednesday we went to Costco & the scout shop. We got an arrow head for me. They are extra things to do along with the requirements. I unlocked in mario kart the 3rd best character Bowser Jr. (It was easy) ;)

Track Out Adventures-Day 2

Lucy:  We were on a hike. I saw a bird's nest, a toad hole (and the toad), & a snake (we think it was a corn snake).  We had a picnic on a giant rock. We did it with our friends. I thought it was fun. ;)

Peter: Well,my foot was KILLING me so I had a hard time through the hike. I also hurt my other foot on the hike & that was not pleasant. Oh, and the snake we saw MIGHT be a copperhead. UH OH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :o

Peter & Lucy: Our dad put together a model rocket that had no top. We went to the park like everything would be okay. It turns out that when we were standing far away & our dad launched it, the rocket landed over by Lucy. Everyone is okay though. :)

Track Out Adventures-Day 1

Today was the first REAL day of track out.  This means that we have 3 weeks off of school.  We feel really happy.  We really want to see our family, especially our cousins.  We will have to wait until the summer track out.  

Lucy:  My favorite part of the day was losing my 5th tooth.  It was at dinnertime.  It did not bleed like my other ones.  I hope to get something from the tooth fairy - I want ten dollars.  I think I will get it.  Look for a picture of my toothless smile.  

Peter:  I had x-rays for my foot. That is because friday I was on my friends zipline & you have a tree to stop yourself by putting your foot out. When I did that my foot came up at a BAD angle and I got hurt. I thought it would get better & is just a bruise. Apparently it did not get better in 3 days so I had to have x-rays. It turns out it's just a not so good bruise. :)
