Waterfall Week

Peter: (There is a beauty rating 1-10 that will be listed) The 1st waterfall we went to was called McGalliard Falls. It has a beauty rating of 4 but all of the trail is just a few yards. On the way to the waterfall I got a fish hook stuck in my toe. :( 

Okay,the 2nd waterfall was called Toms Creek Falls with a beauty rating of 6 & it is 0.37 miles long. Now for the big daddy, Linville Falls!!!!!!! A beauty rating of 10 wow!!!!!!!!!!!! & only 0.55 miles long!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm tired of yelling. Zzz. I'm done with my nap. Soooo the next one is called Upper Creek Falls & Lower Creek Falls. It has a beauty rating of 9. It was supposed to be 1.5 miles long but we got lost (kinda) It was one of those make-one-mistake-and-you -die waterfalls & it was scary :0 We got caught in a bad rain storm too. :( The last one is Upper Waterfall on Gragg Prong. ??? Yes the name is odd but it was nice. A 7 in beauty. 3 times you have to cross a river to get to the waterfall. It had been raining a lot so the river was high.(you can see this in the wonder of waterfall section,picture #3) We had to be carried across the river on our dads back.                      

Other stuff: At our campground, Bear Den they had many things. A game room is one of them. You could play billiards, air hockey, & leaping lizards just to name a few. Fishing is another thing you could do along with swimming & catching tadpoles. We had a good time.
